SWOSU Undergraduate International Admissions
- Complete the online application
- Upload all required documents to your SWOSU Admissions Portal
- Pay the $100 international application fee (non-refundable)
- Waivers are not available
- After submitting, check your email for payment instructions
- Policy effective July 1, 2023
Academic Documents
- Official transcripts from all previous institutions
- If you completed coursework outside the U.S., submit a course-by-course evaluation from a NACES-accredited credential evaluation service (e.g., WES, ECE, SpanTran, IEE)
- English Proficiency Score:
- TOEFL iBT: 79, IELTS: 6.5, PTE Academic: 53, iTEP Academic: 4.0
- If below minimum, apply for ESL at The Language Company Center-
Identification & Immigration Documents
- Copy of Passport Photograph Page
Financial Documents
- Graduate Certification of Financial Resources Form – signed by sponsor – Download PDF
- Current bank statement showing 3–6 months of transaction history in sponsor’s name
- Must be within 1 month of application and no more than 12 months before program start
Academic Documents
- Official transcripts from all U.S. colleges attended
- If you have 24+ U.S. credit hours, additional transcripts or English test scores may not be required
- English Proficiency Score: TOEFL iBT: 79, IELTS: 6.5, PTE Academic: 53, iTEP Academic: 4.0

- I-94 (if currently attending a U.S. university)

Financial Documents
- Graduate Certification of Financial Resources Form – signed by the applicant’s sponsor Microsoft Word - July 2025 financial-certification-GRADUATE
- Current bank statement showing 3–6 months of transaction history
- Must be within 1 month of application and no more than 12 months before program start
- Additional information may be requested from the international office regarding financial documentation
Transfer Credit Evaluations (Outside the U.S.)
- Submit course-by-course evaluation from a NACES-accredited credential evaluation service if you completed coursework outside the U.S. Members – NACES (e.g., WES, ECE, SpanTran, IEE)
Important Notes:
Some SWOSU programs are mostly online; students in these programs may not be eligible for an I-20. Contact international@swosu.edu if unsure before applying.
