LPN-BSN Admissions Criteria

Oklahoma Resident

Students must be current legal residents of the state of Oklahoma and have either an Oklahoma LPN license or a multistate license that allows the student to practice nursing within Oklahoma. We do not currently accept out-of-state students.


Retention GPA 2.5 or above.


Holds a valid unencumbered LPN license by May 1st if applying for the Fall Nursing program or October 1st if applying to the Spring Nursing program. First LPN NCLEX test takers may be considered for admission outside of these dates, but this is not a guarantee of admission. Eligibility will be determined by the LPN to BSN admission committee.


Complete both NACE exams with at least a 70% by May 1st if applying for the Fall Nursing program or October 1st if applying to the Spring Nursing program.


Students must be available to attend clinicals on the days that clinicals are reserved.


Students must have all prerequisite courses completed before the start of their nursing courses. Prerequisite courses cannot be taken along side the nursing courses due to the heavy workload.
