LPN to BSN Program at SWOSU
The BSN curriculum builds upon previous nursing and general education course work. The program is designed to support educational mobility and to strengthen professional growth and leadership abilities of nurses who already have a foundation in the profession.
Application Deadline
The SWOSU LPN-to-BSN program track is not currently accepting new students. In September 2026, SWOSU Nursing will present an updated program plan with enhanced clinical hours to the Oklahoma Board of Nursing for review. The Board will then determine when the program may resume admitting students.
If approval is granted, Spring 2027 is the earliest anticipated admission term. Admission for Spring 2027 is not guaranteed and remains contingent upon the Oklahoma Board of Nursing’s decision.
