Class of 2019-2020
Colten Adams
Colten Adams is a 2019 graduate from Clinton High School. He was involved in his high school choir, making State all four years and earning sweepstakes his senior year. He was also a part of the Clinton High School tennis team, student council, and helped lead the student section at sporting events. He has also practiced Goju-Ryu karate at the Chris Pollman Karate Academy in Weatherford for the past seven years. He recently tested for his black belt in the style. Colten is majoring in Parks and Wildlife Law Enforcement. Go Dawgs!
Cache Anglin
Cache Anglin graduated in 2019 as a valedictorian of Amber-Pocasset High School. He was involved in many different organizations ranging from FFA, FCA, NHS and many more. Cache played varsity baseball all four years of his high school career, and was named Player of the Year in his conference. He was also on the state winning agricultural sales and farm business management teams within his FFA chapter. Cache currently works as a student worker in the Admissions and Recruitment Office here at SWOSU. His plans are to major in pharmacy, and to one day open his own drug store.
Alexa Benedict
Alexa Benedict graduated valedictorian at Burns Flat-Dill City High School. She graduated with honors including Oklahoma Scholar and 2019 Oklahoma Foundation of Excellence Academic All-Stater. In high school, she was president of Government Club and Student Council. She was a member of Math and Science Club, Newspaper, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and golf. She competed in the 2A women’s state golf tournament for three years in row. Senior year, she All-Stated, placed sixth individually, and her team got their third consecutive Academic State Champion trophy. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, painting, church activities, hunting and being outdoors. She plans to obtain her bachelor's degree in health science and attend medical school for graduate school.
Lane Dobrovolny
Lane Dobrovolny is from Kingfisher, Oklahoma and graduated from Kingfisher High School in 2019. During his four years of High School he was a Pre-Engineering student at Chisholm Trail Technology Center, actively involved in FFA, Academic Team Quiz Bowl, National Honor Society, and Student Council. He is also an entrepreneur and started his own lawn business the summer of 2015. Since then, he has grown to be a renowned landscape manager throughout his community. At Southwestern, Lane plans to major in Engineering Technology. He loves SWOSU in Weatherford because it is a home away from home!
Autumn Foster
Autumn Foster is a graduate of Weatherford High School. While at Weatherford, she was the secretary of Key Club, National Honors Society and Student Council. Autumn played on the varsity volleyball team and was chosen to be captain of the team her junior and senior year. She participated in Fan in the Stands, Academic Team, and FCA throughout high school. She was honored as a Distinguished Scholar, Volleyball Offensive MVP, and Fall Homecoming Queen. As she begins her journey at SWOSU, Autumn will major in pre-med to pursue a career in the medical field.
Aiden Green
Aiden Green graduated as the salutatorian of Canute High School. He was involved in FCA and was a member of the student council. He played varsity baseball and basketball for all four years in high school. He was actively involved at Saint Matthews Catholic Church. Aiden is currently majoring in pre-pharmacy.
Hunter Hampton
Hunter Hampton is a 2019 graduate of Elgin High School. He graduated as valedictorian of his class, was president of National Honor Society, and was involved in Student Council and academic team. He was awarded Superintendent’s Honor Roll and Oklahoma Honor Society all four years of high school. Outside of school he was involved with his church youth group and the tech team at First Baptist Church Lawton. Hunter is currently majoring in computer science with aspirations to become a software engineer.
Brooklyn Hicks

He was awarded Superintendent’s Honor Roll and Oklahoma Honor Society all four years of high school. Roberto Mata
Roberto “Bobby” Mata is a pre-med student working toward a degree in biomedical sciences. Bobby attended Watonga High School, where he was the drum major for the WHS band. He was also involved in cross country, FCCLA, Gifted and Talented and prom committee. Bobby is now a proud member of the Pride of the Great Southwest marching band at SWOSU. GO DAWGS!
Abigail Rice
Abigail Rice is a 2019 graduate from Stillwater High School. She was a valedictorian of her class and graduated with honors. She was an Oklahoma Academic Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society, BETA club, Stillwater Makes a Change, Student Council and served as an officer in FCCLA for several years. She is currently a member of the SWOSU pom squad and SWOSU SAAC. Abigail is a biomedical science major and is pursuing a career in the medical field.
Bentley Shattuck
Bentley Shattuck was a 2019 graduate from Durant High School. He was a member of the Student Advisory Board at Durant, and he was a part of the National Honor Society. In high school, Bentley was part of the baseball team and a gallon blood donor. Bentley is planning on going to pharmacy school and working toward becoming a pharmacist.
Morgan Snowden
Morgan Snowden graduated as a valedictorian from Kingfisher High School. She was involved in FCCLA, Business Professionals of America, Superintendent’s Honor Roll, Oklahoma Honor Society, and was the National Honor Society secretary. She also was active in her youth group at Kingfisher First Baptist Church and volunteered at Hope Pregnancy Center. She is currently pursuing a degree in accounting. At SWOSU, she is involved in the Baptist Collegiate Ministries, Phi Beta Lambda and PLC.
Nadia Sosa
Nadia Sosa graduated as the valedictorian of the class of 2019 from Laverne High School. She was also an academic honors diploma recipient. Nadia was the president of National Honor Society, treasurer of her senior class, secretary of Student Council, captain of S.W.I.M. team, captain of Color Guard and junior usher. She was a volunteer for the summer reading program, blood drive, meals on wheels along with many other community service projects. Nadia plans to major in nursing in the hopes of receiving her bachelor’s in nursing and then pursuing her master's to become a nurse practitioner.
Parker Tidwell
Parker Tidwell is a graduate from Piedmont High School where he was a valedictorian. During his high school career, he was NHS president and class vice-president. He was also involved in many other clubs or activities such as tennis, choir, Key Club and American Sign Language Club. Parker was also a part of Superintendent Hofmeister’s Student Advisory Council in his senior year. At SWOSU Parker is currently a nursing major and is involved in the Southwestern Singers and theatre program.
Randi Troglin
Randi Lee Troglin is a 2019 graduate of Mountain View-Gotebo High School. She also attended the Biomedical-Sciences Program at Caddo Kiowa Career Tech Center. She was valedictorian of her class, and was academic all-state in basketball. She was involved in athletics at her school as well as holding offices in FFA and serving as HOSA president. She was active in her home church FBC Mountain View, and now attends FBC Weatherford. At SWOSU, Randi Lee is involved in Honors College, as well as being a cheerleader. She is majoring in biomedical-sciences with an open mind for the future.
Blake Wolters
Blake Wolters graduated from Clinton High School in 2019. Some of the awards he received were valedictorian, Lifetouch Leader of Tomorrow and the Masonic Student of Today. He was involved in organizations such as the National Honors Society, Student Council, varsity tennis and advanced choir. Blake plans on pursuing a degree in accounting.
Kalyn Yancey
Kalyn Yancey is a 2019 graduate from Hydro-Eakly High School. Kalyn was valedictorian of her class and graduated with honors. Her activities included National Honor Society, STUCO, FCA huddle leader, FFA officer, basketball, softball, cross country and track. Kalyn is an Oklahoma All-Stater in basketball, State Runner Up Long Jump in track and is currently a SWOSU cheerleader. Her major is allied health and she hopes to get her master's in medical coding. She is pursuing a career in health care management. She would like everyone to know that she bleeds blue! GO DAWGS!
