The SWOSU Department of Music offers a comprehensive Master of Music program with specializations in Music Education, Performance, and Music Therapy. Recognizing the diverse needs of our students, we've designed flexible pathways; students can choose to complete their degree in a span of two years, while those focusing on Music Education have the added option of concluding their studies over three enriching summers. For individuals without a prior undergraduate degree in music therapy, the Music Therapy Equivalency program allows students to pursue certification and a MM degree simultaneously. Additionally, Graduate Teaching Assistantships provide practical teaching experience, tuition waivers, and a monthly stipend. Join us and propel your musical journey to new heights!
