Wayne Anderson is a full time instructor for the Department of Kinesiology. Wayne
is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He received a B.A. degree from UCO in 2007 and
a Master of Education with emphasis in Physical Education in 2008 also from UCO.
Wayne coached basketball at Cornerstone Christian Academy for 2 years and at UCO for
3 years before coming to SWOSU in 2008. Wayne served as the Men’s Assistant Basketball
coach at SWOSU for 5 years. He has taught part-time for Kinesiology since 2009, teaching
such classes a First Aid, Sports Officiating, Evaluation in Physical Education, and
Wellness. Wayne and his wife Cophie have one son, Cameron.
