Manny Colburn is a new member of the SWOSU faculty. He is an active tubist and teacher around Northeast Indiana, working for the past five years in the music department of Memorial Park Middle School fine arts magnet. He has played in many ensembles, including Fort Wayne Community Band, Zion Brass Ensemble, Old Crown Brass Band, and as a substitute in the Fort Wayne Philharmonic since 2012.
A native of Fort Wayne, IN, Colburn now resides in Norman where he is studying for his DMA at Oklahoma University. He received his Bachelor of Music Performance from Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) and his Master's in Music Performance from University of Delaware, studying with instructors including Sam Gnagey, Brian Brown, Matt Lyon, and Øystein Baadsvik.
