Study Abroad Program
The short-term study abroad program sponsored by the College of Business and Technology offers the perfect balance of coursework and experiential learning. These short-term opportunities to study abroad provide a gateway to immersive cultural experiences, exciting academics, lasting friendships, and self-transformation. In addition, the SWOSU Global Leadership Initiative was created to promote short-term study-abroad opportunities for students and faculty at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (and select guests). Past trips have included London, Costa Rica, Ireland, and, most recently, Peru. Future locations under consideration include Italy, Austria, Spain, England and Scotland.
