Many students who plan to complete professional healthcare curricula come to Southwestern
Oklahoma State University for one, two, three or four years of prerequisite courses
before applying to a professional program. Suggestions for pre-professional training
are listed below. However, before enrolling, students are advised to consult with
faculty regarding the requirements of the professional program they wish to enter.
Faculty advisors will prepare a personal plan of study for each student.
