There is a wide variety of career opportunities available to the student interested in a profession in psychology. A bachelor’s degree is usually a prerequisite to specializing as a professional in many fields of psychology. However, the variety of training experiences required for a bachelor’s degree in psychology qualifies graduates for many profitable and satisfying jobs in business, government, and social agencies. Psychology can also provide an excellent minor field for the student interested in law, medicine, business, biological sciences, social sciences, and education.
