SWOSU Mind Games Team Advances to Finals

- Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s “Mind Games” team will play for the 2013 spring semester championship title this Sunday, May 19, thanks to an impressive 540-180 semifinal win on May 12 over Northeastern State University.

- These Southwestern Oklahoma State University students in Weatherford recently toured the National World War I Museum in Kansas City as part of Laura Endicott’s course at SWOSU entitled “WWI and WWII” that is offered through the SWOSU Department of Social Sciences.

SWOSU Computer Club Students Win at Heartland Gaming Expo

- A group of 10 Southwestern Oklahoma State University Computer Club students recently attended the Heartland Gaming Expo 2013 at the University of Tulsa, and four of the students walked away with the “Best Overall Game” Award.

- Three Southwestern Oklahoma State University biology students in Weatherford recently won regional honors at the 2013 Beta Beta Beta (National Biological Honor Society) South Central Regional Convention held at the Biological Station at Lake Texoma.

Date Night and Labor Auction Planned by SWOSU Sorority

- SWOSU’s chapter of the Kappa Delta Omega sorority will hold a date night and labor auction this Monday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m. with portions of the proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.

Weatherford and Walters Seniors at SWOSU Plan Art Exhibition

- An art exhibition by Southwestern Oklahoma State University seniors Ashley Abbe of Walters and Destini Spencer of Weatherford will be on display May 2-15 on the Weatherford campus.
