- Dr. Blake Sonobe, vice chancellor for academic affairs of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, will serve as guest speaker at the 70th annual Spring Convocation for Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Sayre on Friday, May 10, at 7 p.m. in the Sayre Public Schools Auditorium.

- SWOSU-Sayre will host the 14th annual Timed Writing and Research Project (WARP) contest on February 26 and entries from high school juniors is now being accepted for the competition that has a “Hurray for Hollywood” theme.
Mammography Screenings Available for Sayre Area Women

- The Oklahoma Breast Care Center will partner with SWOSU-Sayre’s radiology program to offer digital mammography screening on Wednesday, February 27, and on Tuesday, March 5, at the Sayre campus.
SWOSU-Sayre Offers Help with Financial Aid Application

- Southwestern Oklahoma State University-Sayre’s Student Financial Aid Department will help area residents fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on Thursday, February 21, from 5:30-7 p.m. on the SWOSU-Sayre campus.
