Inaugural Events Held for SWOSU President Randy Beutler

Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry (second from left) was guest speaker at a sold-out Weatherford dinner in honor of Beutler (right). The two are shown with (left) Lacey Dale Gracia and Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2011 Lacey Russ, both who performed during the event.

Beutler receives the traditional university mace and medallion during an impressive inaugural ceremony that attracted over 800 people and was headlined by Oklahoma Lt. Governor Jari Askins.  A dinner was also held in Sayre as part of the inaugural activities. Beutler is the 17th president of SWOSU.  

Inaugural ceremonies were held December 7-8 in Weatherford and Sayre for Southwestern Oklahoma State University President Randy Beutler.
