SWOSU Business Students Participate in Governor's Cup Competition

Business students in the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Everett Dobson School of Business & Technology recently participated in the Governor’s Cup competition. 

The competition was open to university students around the state of Oklahoma.  Each team prepared a business plan for a new, technology-based company. 

SWOSU’s team included six students: Ashleigh Barnett, Hydro; April Dodson, Clearwater (KS); Kyle Eckhardt, Cherokee; Evan Jarrett, Visalia (CA); Ali North, Hydro; and Josh Ziegler, Swisher (IA).   

The team worked the 2008 semester on planning and preparing their business plan for a new Internet-based gift-giving service. 

Faculty sponsors of the team were Dr. Elizabeth Ferrell and ­­­­Tami Moser.
