Twirler & The Remedy Win SWOSU Talent Show

Twirler Vickie Frantz and “The Remedy” band won the individual and group performance competition at the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Bulldog Blitz Talent Show held recently on the Weatherford campus.

Frantz, a freshman from Elk City and feature twirler for the SWOSU Marching Band, won for her performance to the song, “Treasure Planet.”

“The Remedy” won the group competition. Members of the band are Brady Fain, a junior from Norman; David Lawrence, a Norman senior; and Devon Krause, an Okeene senior. They performed the song “Reasons & Seasons.”

Each won $500.

The event was sponsored by the Collegiate Activities Board and featured a theme of “SWOSU at the Grammy’s!”
