Colvin and Fast Named SWOSU Employees in the Spotlight for January

Rachel Colvin and Robbie Fast are the employees in the spotlight during the month of January at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

Colvin is the purchasing coordinator at SWOSU. She has worked at the university for two years. She and her husband, Charlie, live in the country south of Clinton. They have two children, Taylor and Weston. They attend Freewill Baptist Church in Clinton. Colvin moved to western Oklahoma from northeastern Oklahoma six years ago due to her husband’s job. She enjoys reading, cross-stitching, and gardening.

Fast is a mill worker at SWOSU. He has worked at SWOSU for 10 years. He and his wife, Melanie (who works in the Registrar’s office at SWOSU), live in Weatherford. They have two sons, Nathan and Isaac. The family attends the First Baptist Church in Weatherford.  Fast is involved in Cub Scouts, and he enjoys collecting toy trains and rocks and also camping with his sons. In 1993, Fast graduated from SWOSU with a degree in engineering technology.
