Dances with Wolves Author

Dances With Wolves author Michael Blake spoke to a full house during his November 8 speaking stop at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

Blake also signed copies of his most recent book,Indian Yell: The Heart of an American Insurgency.

His appearance was sponsored by the Washita Battlefield National Historic Site and Western National Parks Association to begin the park’s annual involvement in Oklahoma’s History Day competition.
