Five Students Win SWOSU Parent's Day Scholarships

Five Southwestern Oklahoma State University students each won $500 tuition scholarships at this past weekend’s Parent’s Day activities on the Weatherford campus.

Winners were:

• Jamie Forrest, Watonga
• Niki Haney, Stigler
• Allison Hoffman, Ft. Worth, Texas
• Brady Reed, Snyder, Texas
• Rebekah Vermillion, Norman.

The scholarships were made possible by 57 participating businesses. Students and family members were allowed to register for the scholarship drawings throughout the day on September 30. Winners were announced at halftime of the SWOSU football game.
