SWOSU Students Win Physics Honors

Southwestern Oklahoma State University students won honors at the recent Physics spring honors banquet held on the Weatherford campus.

Among the students winning awards were (from left): David Chantz Drake, Elk City, $1,000 J.R. Pratt Scholarship; Bhaskar Basnet, Nepal, $750 Physics Alumni Scholarship; Ashis Shrestha, Nepal, $750 Physics Alumni Scholarship; Justin Silkwood, Norman, Arthur McClellan $750 Memorial Scholarship and Outstanding New Physics Club Member; and Vishnu Pokhrel, Nepal, $750 Physics Alumni Scholarship.

Among the students winning awards was Moin Khan, Pakistan , J.R. Pratt Award-Outstanding Student in Physics, Graduating with Honor Medallion and a Who's Who Recipient.

Among the students winning awards was Jonathan Wallace, Weatherford, Sigma Pi Sigma Inductee and Outstanding Midclassman in Physics Award.

Among the students winning awards was Justin Silkwood, Norman, Arthur McClellan $750 Memorial Scholarship and Outstanding New Physics Club Member.
