Recycling Project Underway by SWOSU Groups

“Promoting Recycling Awareness” is a project coming up in Weatherford that is being promoted by the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Biology Club, Tri-Beta and the Student Government Association.

On January 26, the organizations will be setting up two recycling points, one at Weatherford High School and the other at Walmart. Area residents are invited to bring aluminum and plastic items for recycling efforts.

Biology Club President Garry Bull said any SWOSU students who are interested in getting involved with handing out recycling flyers should attend the Biology Club meeting on January 19 or contact him at (580) 774-7579 for details.
