SWOSU Faculty to Present Recital on Thursday

Jonathan Stewart, a member of the voice faculty at Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Department of Music, will give a voice recital this Thursday, February 3, at 8:15 p.m. in Room 101 of the Music Building on the Weatherford campus.

Admission is free, and the public is invited.

Stewart will be accompanied on piano by Dr. James Breckenridge, professor of music at SWOSU.

Stewart has degrees in both vocal performance and choral conducting and came to SWOSU with much solo singing experience including solo performances with the Saint Louis Chamber Chorus and the Paducah Symphony.

Stewart’s program will include works by Purcell, Wolf, Faure and Cummings.
