LexisNexis Academic
LN Academic provides searchable access to a wide spectrum of full-text information from over 5,600 sources, selected to meet academic research needs, including:

- U.S. Federal and state case law, codes, regulations, legal news, law reviews, and international legal information

Pop Culture Universe
This database includes more than 250 volumes of reviewed, published material that offer thousands of overviews of pop culture from the 1920's through the present, including TV shows, awards, fads, fashions, and news.

Points of View Reference Center
This resource is a full-text database that provides essays presenting multiple sides of a current issue. The database provides 250 topics, each with an overview (objective background/description), point (argument), counterpoint (opposing argument), and a Critical Thinking Guide. Example topics include: affirmative action, cloning, DNA profiling, HIV/AIDS status disclosure, immigration, Iraq, Israel and the Palestinians, Katrina and FEMA response, nuclear proliferation, separation of church and state, standardized testing, stem cell research, tax cuts, voting machines, and many more.

TOPICsearch (EBSCOhost)
This database contains articles from more than 2,700 sources, including international and regional newspapers, magazines, biographies, public opinion polls, book reviews, pamphlets, and government information. Each article is associated with a main topic or current event which can be selected from drop down menus on the search page.

Search the holdings of academic, public, and special libraries throughout the US and the world. Use WorldCat to search for books, videos, and other materials not owned by the SWOSU library and request them through interlibrary loan.

IngentaConnect is a database of article citations from 30,000 multidisciplinary journals. Ingenta contains brief descriptive information about over 21,000,000 magazine and journal articles.

JSTOR Journal Archive
JSTOR is a full-text scholarly journal archive. JSTOR specializes in making available the back issues of journals in a wide variety of humanities and social science disciplines. Issues are available both as images and as text. Searching is possible within each title and across the whole database.

Lynda.com Online Training Library
Use Lynda.com to learn the latest tools and techniques in digital media, design, and development. Video tutorials show you how to use programs such as MS Office 2007, Acrobat, Flash, Photoshop, Quicken, QuickBooks, and many other programs. There are also videos on how to use popular web sites such as Google and eBay.
