Softball to Host Hitting Clinic

WEATHERFORD, Okla. - The Southwestern Oklahoma State University softball team will be hosting a hitting clinic Sunday, Aug. 9. The clinic, which is opened for girls of all ages, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. at the SWOSU Softball Field located just North of the main campus on Caddo Street.

The SWOSU clinic is designed for all hitters, ranging in skill level from beginner to advanced.  In addition to receiving instruction on proper swing mechanics, hitters will participate in various drills covering topics such as bunting, slapping, switch hitting and base running. Cost is $30 and checks should be made out to SWOSU Softball.
