Soccer Loses to Harding, 5-0

The Harding loss dropped SWOSU to 2-5 on the season while Harding improved to 4-3 on the year. The Bulldogs will resume play Friday, Sept. 26 at Colorado State-Pueblo.
Harding’s Chelsea Brandon scored on three goals and assisted on another as the Bisons moved in front 4-0 before the first half. Brandon assisted on the game’s first goal hitting teammate Jackie Anthony on a well-timed pass to put Harding ahead 1-0 in the 15th minute. Brandon then took over herself scoring goals in 22nd, 23rd and 40th minute that put the Bison out in front by a comfortable margin.
Harding added one final goal in the second half when Kyra Lecocq scored in the game’s 57th minute to make it 5-0.
Harding outshot SWOSU 18-8 and had 10 shots on goal compared to three by the Bulldogs.
SWOSU used two goalkeepers in the game. Chesley Dodd played the first half before being lifted in favor of Becky Hilterbran in the second half.
