Pritchett's Overtime Goal Lifts SWOSU to Victory

San Antonio, TX - Southwestern Oklahoma State’s Cherilyn Pritchett’s overtime goal was enough to lift the Bulldogs to a 1-0 victory over St. Mary’s in women’s soccer action Sunday in San Antonio.
Pritchett, a junior from Del City, scored with two minutes elapsed in the first overtime, getting a shot past St. Mary’s goalkeeper Lily Cano. The goal was Pritchett’s second of the season.
The win evened SWOSU’s record at 6-6 on the season and set them up for a conference showdown with Texas A&M-Commere Friday at 4 p.m. in Weatherford.
SWOSU’s goalkeeper Lindsey Crook faced 13 shots during the 93 minute game against St. Mary’s and came away with her third shutout of the season.
