Women at Halfway Point

DUNCAN, Okla. - The Southwestern Oklahoma State University women's golf team reached the halfway point at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Golf Tournament in 13th place shooting a team score of 366. The final round concludes Tuesday at the Territory Golf Course in Duncan, Okla.

St. Edward's leads the 13-team field with a score of 304, seven shots better than second place Northeastern State at 311. St. Edward's Kirby Baker is the individual leader with a one-over par score of 73. A total of 74 golfers are entered in the event.

SWOSU's best score was by Sarah Simpson who shot an 85 which ranked her in a tie for 51st.  Teammate Lisa Roche was two shots back of that point shooting an 87, which ranked her 56th.
