Women in 10th after Round 1

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The Southwestern Oklahoma State University women found themselves alone and in 10th place after the first round of play at the Northeastern State University Golf Classic. The 10th annual event will conclude Tuesday with another 18 holes of play at Cherry Creek Golf Course in Tahlequah.SWOSU’s Tasha Marshall was currently tied for 32nd with a first-round score of 14-over par, 85. Teammates Lisa Roche and Amber Henderson each shot an 87 and are in a tie for 37th place.
Central Oklahoma and St. Edward’s are the first round co-leaders. Both teams shot a 314 and are three shots ahead of third-place Tarleton State. SWOSU shot a 355.
A total of 13 teams and 70 golfers are participating in the event.
