CLAREMORE, Okla. - The Southwestern Oklahoma State University men won their final exhibition basketball game rolling to a 61-49 victory over Avila University Friday in Claremore, Okla.

Charleston Flemmings had 12 points to lead the Bulldogs in scoring as SWOSU opened up a 41-23 halftime lead before coasting to the 12-point victory.

Avila, an NAIA school from Kansas City, was led by Logan Sullivan with 15 points. The loss was the Eagles first in four games this year.

SWOSU ended the game making 23-of-53 shots for 43 percent and out rebounding the Eagles 37-34. The final margin could have been greater but the Bulldogs managed to make just 11-of-22 shots from the free throw line for 50 percent.

SWOSU finished its three-game exhibition schedule as winners of two of the three contests. SWOSU had earlier beaten Science and Arts of Oklahoma after opening with a loss to Oklahoma City University.
