Open Tryout Set for Team

WEATHERFORD, Okla. - An open tryout for the Southwestern Oklahoma State University men's basketball program has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 31 at 4 p.m. in Rankin Williams Fieldhouse.

The men's basketball team is coming off a successful season in which the team finished 19-11 and made their first-ever appearance in the Lone Star Conference Tournament championship game.

All tryout participants must have proof of a physical examination within the last six months and have exhausted all their high school eligibility. In addition junior college students must have exhausted their eligibility as well and four-year transfers must have a written release before being allowed to participate.

SWOSU students must have transcript to show they are in good academic standing. Only one tryout per prospect. If prospect tries out in the spring, he can not again in the fall.
