Clarke Hale

Graduate Assistant

Clarke Hale, a former all-conference player for Southwestern Oklahoma State University, has joined the Bulldog coaching staff this season as a graduate assistant.

Hale spent three years at SWOSU and helped the Bulldogs to three consecutive Lone Star Conference Tournament appearances, including the 2009 championship game. He finished his career at SWOSU with 1,055 points, averaging better than 12.7 points per game. His 182 career three-pointers rank him second on the school's all-time charts and his career free throw percentage of better than 84% is third best.

Prior to arriving at SWOSU, Hale spent one season at Collin County Community College where he was a starting guard on a team that finished the year 21-9. He signed with Louisiana Tech out of high school after earning all-state honors at Azle, Texas while playing for his dad, Robert. He averaged 27 points and four rebounds a game as a senior and was the state's leading scorer in his class.
