Baseball to host Golf Event

WEATHERFORD --  The Southwestern Oklahoma State University baseball program will hold its annual Fundraising Golf Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Prairie West Golf Course in Weatherford.

Registration for the popular golf event begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $60 which includes green fee, cart rental and lunch.

Individuals may sign up as a four-member teams or can be placed in a group.

SWOSU coach Scott Selby said the outing will be extra special this year because it will coincide with homecoming festivities that will happen throughout the weekend.

"We had a lot fun last year and hope this event continues to grow bigger and better each year," Selby said.
