Sonic Gives $3,000 to Baseball

WEATHERFORD -- Weatherford Sonic Drive-In owner/operator Tommy Sims was on campus Tuesday to present Southwestern Oklahoma State University baseball coach Scott Selby with a $3,000 check to assist the Bulldog baseball program in its future fund raising efforts. Sims has donated thousands of dollars to the SWOSU baseball program each of the last 10 years as part of Sonic Corporation partnership program.

At the ceremony were SWOSU athletic director Todd Thurman and assistant athletic director Rouben Tourian.

"Tommy, along with Sonics generosity, have always been vital to the SWOSU baseball program," Selby said. "We are pleased that they are extending their partnership yet another year."
