Rose Wins LSC Award

RICHARDSON, Texas - Southwestern Oklahoma State University's Travis Rose was selected as the Lone Star Conference Baseball Hitter-of-the-week for his efforts in the Bulldogs most recent series sweep of West Texas A&M.
Rose, a junior first baseman from Fort Worth, Texas, hit .429 in the four victories over the Buffs. Rose and his Bulldog teammates have won 10 straight games, the most by a SWOSU team since they started the season as winners of 10 straight in 2004.
Rose blasted his team-leading fifth in game two of the series. He is hitting .406 this year and has 24 RBI's for the Bulldogs who are 14-8 on the year.
