Stover was the Closer for the Coppell Copperheads in the Texas Collegiate League summer of 2009.  Finished off the summer pitching 20 innings, 1 win, 5 saves, 1.89 ERA, 34 K’s, and opponents hitting a .136.  Stover was given the player of the game in the first game of the Championship Series for coming in with bases loaded 1 out and allowed no runs, no hits, and 1 strike out facing the league’s top two prospects.  The Copperheads went on to sweep and ended up being the 2009 Champs of the TCL.

Junior College/High School: Junior College/High School: Played first season at Connors State College and second season at Western Oklahoma State College...Graduate of Mangum High School...Once struck out 17 batters in a seven-inning high school game...Played for Elk City Travelers in 2005 who won the 2005 Texas Elite World Series Championship...Also played for the Coppell Copperheads in the Texas Collegiate League in 2006 and 2007...Won the Tris Speaker Division both years and won the Texas Collegiate League Championship in 2007 and 2009.
