McKenzie Talcott (Coach)

McKenzie Talcott is returning as the Head Coach of the SWOSU Co-ed Cheerleading Squad for her 2nd year.  McKenzie holds the AACCA Safety Certification, is involved with the OCA (Oklahoma Coaches Association) and OCCA (Oklahoma Cheerleading Coaches Association), serves as an O.S.S.A.A. Regional Cheer Competition Judge, and is also part of USAG (USA Gymnastics) and USASF (US All Star Federation for Cheer & Dance).  McKenzie has been a gymnastics, cheer & dance instructor for nine years and has been a gym owner since 2002 in three different states.  She was the Assistant Cheer Coach at OPSU in 2006 after cheering at there from 2000-2005, serving as Captain. As the owner of All Stars Gymnastics Cheer & Dance, McKenzie teaches over 300 children and young adults in the Weatherford and surrounding area.  McKenzie earned her Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Chemistry at OPSU and is finishing her Master's degree in Sports Management at SWOSU.  She is also a certified Secondary Science teacher for the State of Oklahoma.
